Sample assignments:

  • A retreat for members of a hospital emergency department team. Objective: to propose improvements in all aspects of emergency services.
  • A series of strategic planning meetings for the management group of the logistics department of a major retailer, leading to the development of a new departmental mission and plan.
  • A retreat for over 80 managers within a government ministry to convey and explain the ministry’s new direction, and to begin the process of making the strategic decisions operational.
  • A series of meetings between members of management and the union in a transportation agency, in order to repair a poisoned work environment and develop a more collaborative approach to resolving future problems.
  • An intensive one-day meeting of department heads in a municipal government to review the new strategic plan and discuss its interdepartmental implications.
